About Helen
Helen Cornell, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, WCC is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner joining Fresh Start Health Centers in Vanceburg in August 2026.
Helen earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University (2025) and her Master of Science in Nursing from South University (2019). She holds specialty credentials in Wound Care (WCC) and has extensive experience with wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy from her clinical role at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.
At Fresh Start Health, Helen will provide primary care, medication-assisted treatment (Sublocade, Brixadi, Vivitrol), Hepatitis C treatment, and PrEP services.
