Fresh Start Health opened in Vanceburg in 2023 to serve Lewis County — one of the most rural parts of our region, where seeing a doctor has historically meant driving an hour or more. Our Plummer Lane clinic provides primary care, addiction medicine, counseling, and psychiatric care close to home.

We offer Suboxone, Sublocade, Brixadi, and Vivitrol for opioid and alcohol use disorder, plus counseling, psychiatric medication management, hepatitis C treatment, PrEP, and primary care for adults and families. Peer support specialists — people with their own recovery experience — are part of the team here. Serving Lewis County and nearby Tollesboro, Garrison, and Firebrick. Transportation to appointments is available, which is often the difference between making one and missing it.
