Freda Fields, APRN, FNP-C, CARN-AP

Freda Fields, APRN, FNP-C, CARN-AP is the Director of Addiction Services at Fresh Start Health Centers. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP) and a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse — Advanced Practice (CARN-AP), reflecting her deep expertise in addiction medicine.

Freda leads Fresh Start Health’s medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs, including injectable Sublocade and Brixadi (buprenorphine), as well as Vivitrol (naltrexone). She is also trained in Hepatitis C treatment (KHAMP II) and PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV prevention).

Freda’s patient-centered approach combines clinical rigor with compassion, helping individuals in Ashland and the surrounding region take confident steps toward recovery and long-term health.
